    Benoit Lahaye is a real virtuoso of biodynamic farming in Bouzy but he also owns a remote parcel on the south part of Cote des Blancs in the village of Voipreux. An area famous for producing the finest Chardonnay in Champagne. The small parcel of 0,2 hectares planted in 1952 is too far for Benoit to tend on his own. Thus, this specific plot of land is farmed by Pierre Larmandier, close friend of Benoit and an esteemed biodynamic grower in Cote des Blancs. Blanc de Blancs is a blend of two different vintages and constitutes a remarkable, stylish and free of sulphites and dosage expression of Chardonnay.

    Persistent and expressive, with aromas of lime and ginger, white flowers, smoke, bread core and the sea breeze. Elegant on the palate, with the lively acidity one expects and an intensely mineral character that comes in a beautiful contrast with the silky texture of the wine. All in all, an amazing Blanc des Blancs with immense purity, elegance, precision aromatic clarity and vibrant freshness. Ageing will boost its racy, smoky mineral character and provide even greater levels of complexity. Without any sulphites added, unfiltered and with no dosage, what you get is a Champagne of 100% Chardonnay, without intervention, defined by its extraordinary terroir.
