Jo Landron Muscadet Sevre Et Maine "La Louvetrie"

14,60 €

While Jo Landron's single-vineyard Muscadet, such as La Fief du Breil or Haute Tradition, age as seriously as a Burgundy, La Louvetrie makes you want to grab the bottle and drink the wine straight from there. Full of green apple freshness, refreshing acidity and medium volume on the palate, this is the wine you just want to drain every last drop. At this point you'll remember that deep thought isn't always directly linked to pleasure. And La Louvetrie, Landron's unique wine made from a blend of different vineyards and soils, is an effortlessly enjoyable rendition of vitality, freshness and the saltiness that the Atlantic gives.

More info

The French response to a dry German Riesling is as sharp as this youthful and fresh Muscadet. It is a combination of young and older vines from different terroirs on the estate with very careful yields, which is the Achilles' heel of Muscadet. The use of whole bunches, spontaneous fermentation in glass-lined concrete vats and six months of contact with the lees give the wine delicate textures and precision in the expression of the lemony fruit. Mineral notes complement the extremely lively palate which is overwhelmed by gusts of freshness and coolness until the finish. A classic pairing for fresh and raw seafood with a little coarse salt.
