    Until the new plantings of Agiorgitiko grow on his estate in Santameri, Achaia, Panagiotis Dimitropoulos has been steadily buying grapes for years from an excellent organic vineyard in Asprokambos Nemea at 800m altitude. As he also does with Santameriana and Roditis, he makes two different wines from Agiorgitiko, with the natural version having minimal sulphites and bottled unfiltered. If you prefer wines drowned in fruit, full of tannins, "deadly" alcohol and more new oak than Swedish sauna, you won't find it here. Sant'Or's Natural Agiorgitiko has timid elegance, cool red fruit, is delicate and doesn't "burn" you with alcohol. A style that comes from the excellent mountain terroir but no doubt also from the gentle hand of the winemaker.

    Pleasant, refreshing, with ideal ripeness and breadth in the mouth, free of any harshness. An airy, clear wine from Agiorgitiko that expresses the joy of life, without stylized exuberant barrels, acquired vanillas and excessive extractions on the nose and palate. The red fruit excels, crystal clear, expressive along with some smoke, fresh acidity and tannins that express the altitude perfectly. Drinkable comfortably now but has the structure, acidity and fruit that will help it age gracefully for five years.
