Monte Dall' Ora Valpolicella Classico Superiore "Camporenzo" DOC

27,20 €

The next step up from Monte Dall' Ora's simple Valpolicella loses nothing of its youthful charm and directness of style. It just offers them in greater intensity and with a more mature mood. The single-vineyard Camporenzo is a Classico Superiore from the excellent limestone soils of San Pietro in Cariano. Camporenzo, the lively cherry and Valpolicella freshness combine with a lovely mouthfeel that has moderate volume and elegant - fine-grained - tannins. A wonderful authentic expression of Valpolicella with a more serious disposition.

More info

A classic Valpolicella is simply enjoyed without having to think any further. Camporenzo, however, is a wine that has other multifaceted dimensions besides enjoyment. The minerality flatters the fruit - pure, lively and expressive - the result of the minimalist philosophy that Carlo and Alessandra follow in vineyard and winery. The winemaking is clearly simple in philosophy. Camporenzo, like all the estate wines, is fermented with indigenous yeasts. Fermentation takes place in cement and stainless steel tanks for a few days and the wine will age for 6 months in old large 25hl barrels. Camporenzo is a perfect demonstration of Monte Dall'Ora's ability to make wines with depth and substance, without excess.
