    The iconic wine is one of the flags of the Italian vineyard and takes its name from a small stream that runs through the Isole e Olena estate. It started to be produced in 1980 from 100% Sangiovese and belongs to the category of the famous Super Tuscans, because at that time Chianti from 100% Sangiovese was not allowed. But Ceparello shouts Tuscany from afar, celebrating the character of the variety and the terroir of the region always with a gentle approach to winemaking. Ceparello is a great wine not because of monumental concentration, richness or the use of very expensive barrels. Rather, its hallmark is terroir and concepts such as elegance, precision of expression, delicacy, finesse and freshness.

    The raw material is selected from the best vineyards on the property and the wine is vinified in large oak tanks, aiming for an elegant expression of the fruit. A wonderful nose of wild cherry and plum which are blended with spicy and sweet spices from the masterfully crafted barrel. Full on the palate without being heavy or overpowering, how could it be since the acidity is thunderously present, keeping the wine in perfect balance. The tannins are for a seminar in elegance and press on the deep fruit giving a structure that will age it in a sensational way. In all its vintages, a masterful wine that straddles the line between power and elegance.
