    The rarest of Reka Koncz's already rare wines, Linear Notes is a very special red pet-nat, with a very low-pressure sparkle, from the Cabernet Franc and Kekfrankos varieties. With a mild light sparkle combined with the gentle crushing of the grape and low tannins, this is a particularly fruity wine with intense spicy aromas. A pet-nat that you don't expect and doesn't remind you much of other examples of this style. With only a few bottles in hand and great levels of enjoyment, specificity and idiosyncrasy, if you catch this one, don't miss it for anything.

    The grape blend is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch), two grapes grown in the Mátra region from organically certified vineyards. The two varieties are subjected to very gentle pressing and vinified in closed containers, with very gentle and soft extraction of the juice with the skins. Something which keeps the tannins at very low levels. The fermentation continues in plastic tanks and fiberglass where it is then bottled to be fully completed leaving a gentle effervescence. With only 1,000 bottles produced and very few of them having come into our hands, this is truly an extremely rare, slightly sparkling wine, full of character and directness. Almost zero sulphites and no intervention or addition during vinification.
