The viticultural richness of the Amyndeon region is staggering and Lawrence Hartman relies on 60 and 100 year old vines to produce this super-strong Xinomavro, an "ode" to the specific mountainous terroir. This is a wine of stunning elegance, with tannins on the palate that feel as if they have been embroidered, combined with the floral and fruity character that is a hallmark of the region. Lawrence himself worked the extractions only with pigeage to extract the elements of the grape with absolute gentleness, fermented in traditional foudres, lowered the sulfites a lot and the result he achieved managed to enchant us. Red fruit like crisp cherries, raspberry floral character, sun-dried tomato, olive, expressiveness, but above all, electric energy that permeates the body from head to toe.

A Xinomavro texture, giving the sensation of velvet in the mouth but at the same time its energy and freshness permeate you. Elegance, freshness over complexity in this particular vintage, which gave an airy, fresh Xinomavro without missing the good layers of fruit. Different nuances, precision in its expression and authenticity expressing clearly the unique terroir of Amyndeon through its elegant dimension. It matured for 16 months in old oak barriques and remained in bottle for an even longer time before being released to the market.
